To be successful in business or in life, I have come to realize that we must continually take corrective action. Putting myself in danger day in and day out can be extremely exhausting, especially when things don’t go the way I wanted. So, whenever I face a disappointing event or an undesirable outcome, I NEVER FORGET these famous failures:
1.Bill Gates, founder and president of Microsoft, has literally changed the culture of work in the world in the 21st century, simplifying the way the computer is used. He just happens to have been the richest man in the world for a decade. However, in the 70s before he started, he was a Harvard University dropout. The ironic part is that he started a software company (soon to become Microsoft) by buying software technology from “someone” for only $50 at the time.
2. Abraham Lincoln, received no more than 5 years of formal education throughout his life. When he grew up, he joined politics and had 12 major failures before being elected as the 16th President of the United States of America.
3.Isaac Newton was the greatest English mathematician of his generation. His work on optics and gravitation made him one of the greatest scientists the world has ever known. Many thought Isaac was born a genius, but he wasn’t! When he was young, he did very poorly in elementary school, so badly that his teachers couldn’t improve his grades.
4. Ludwig van Beethoven, a German composer of classical music, is widely regarded as one of the supreme composers in history.
